The beautiful Pelican Bay beaches are a major part of the many amenities to which you are entitled as a property owner in Pelican Bay. These wonderful stretches of beach (almost 3 miles long) are located north and south of The Commons.  There are two fabulous restaurants located directly on the beach.  Both restaurants offer a tasty array of appetizers and entrees and both locations offer a full bar.  Even during high season, waits for dining are very minimal and there's always enough space on the beach to relax.

Access to both beaches is over the berm and boardwalks and is provided by 8 passenger electric trams. Members and guests are picked up at specified stations adjacent to the parking lots and along selected sites on the berm. There are a total of 8 tram stops for passenger pick up.

The Pelican Bay beaches are easily accessible on foot or Pelican Bay trolley along the boardwalks and through our wondrous Mangrove forest. Once there, the beautiful Gulf of Mexico is majestic. The sandy beaches are well kept by a staff of beach attendants who gladly set up chaises, chairs, cabanas and umbrellas from 9am to 5pm daily.

The homes in Pelican Bay and the condos in Pelican Bay  are a great place to spend your winters or live full time.  You'll find Pelican Bay offers not only a great beach amenity package but also excellent golf.  Check out the Pelican Bay Golf Course. If you're interested in only the best, You'll be most interested in Bay Colony.  Bay Colony is the only subdivision in Pelican Bay that offers Beach front living.  There are only 12 exclusive estates located on the beach in an area called The Strand at Bay Colony. Although not all Bay Colony condos line the beach, each building is unique and exquisite in their own special way.
